The Kopper Kettle Inn in
Morristown, Indiana was our venue this year for the Club's Valentine's Day
Dinner. There were 46 signed up of which 38 turned out for the feast. There
wasn't quite as much room as we had last year, at the Bittersweet Inn, but
we were all together in one area.
"Famous for over 75 Years..... Where one can savor Hoosier fried chicken, broiled prime steaks and delicious seafood served by lovely girls in peasant costume."
The food was excellent, I had the Chicken Noodle Soup, Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans followed by Ice Cream. Audrey, my wife, had the same soup, Catfish with Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans and Corn followed by Peach Pie. Everyone we spoke to had a really great dinner as could be seen by the cars being way lower on their suspension going home than when they arrived. Special thanks go to John & Skip Wood for organizing things this year and to all the staff of the Kopper Kettle for looking after us.
