Brown County NCCC Fun Day

bc1.jpg (24700 bytes) Sunday 3rd October, what a beautiful day it was for a trip to Brown County. At this time of year I thought the sweatshirt would be the thing to wear but by the mid-afternoon I was wishing I had a T-Shirt.

We gathered at Bob Evans for breakfast (a little late) and cruised on out to the park just after 10am. A nice straight shot out 46 so even I couldn't get lost.

At the height of the day I counted over 60 vettes there, someone said 69 to be more precise, and there were a lot of C4's. As usual it was the very old or very new that got the most attention.

Personally, I had never been to the Brown County Park before and I took the opportunity to take part in the Poker Run, which took me all round it. I have never seen my 87's vettes temp gauge get so high. Climbing up and up through the windy paths had it reading 230 degrees. But it wasn't for too long as we were soon cruising down the other side making my ears pop in the process.

All in all, a hot day for hot cars!

Richard.
